Jennafer is a native of a small town in Connecticut, where she grew up dancing in all styles. Her love for tap dance grew when she attended Plymouth State University, in Plymouth, NH, and further honed her tap knowledge and skills under the tutelage of Aaron Tolson. After graduation, Jennafer was selected to dance in Tolson’s semi-professional tap dance company, where she later served as his company manager and senior dance captain. At the same time, she jumped feet first into teaching, and for the past 15 years, has been introducing her students to the relationship between sounds and movements. As a passionate and dedicated teacher, Jennafer loves nothing more than teaching technique and helping students find their passion for tap dance. She is also an award-winning choreographer and many of her pieces have earned the highest scoring routine of the competition. For the past 10 years, Jennafer has been involved in various scholarship programs, she serves on the Board of Directors for Miss Bedford, part of the Miss New Hampshire America, and she choreographs for local contestants. Jennafer loves being a formative part of a young dancer’s training and enjoys sharing her passion for the tap dance with everyone who steps into her classroom.
